It's "180" Day, today!

Yesterday on the Sean Hannity show, Lanny Davis (former W.H. counsel to Clinton's) was discussing the abortion issue.  He mentioned he took a pro-choice stance on abortion but didn't want to "discriminate" against those who may disagree with that view----namely the Catholics or Christians who disagree with murdering a baby.

I am trying to understand his view.  Lets see,  he didn't want to discriminate against any person or make an unfair judgment against those people who may want to save children's lives in the womb.  So he is telling us he supports someones right to kill a baby but it might be considered discrimination if you say you are against abortion?   Huh?

Is it really discrimination or unfair to be against the murder of an innocent baby or to be against those folks who give their support (including their dollars) so someone else can murder the baby like say, Planned Parenthood?   I think not.  Please watch the movie 180 if you haven't already.   Thank you for your time.

The Manual of manuals

Without the right directions or manual, many times life can seem like random pieces of a puzzle complete with meaningless chaos.

But with the right manual,  one can know what life means----and know what happens next.

Here's the point.
The manual of all manuals is the Bible.  It provides the symptoms of a disease which we can all see without reading the manual.  Symptoms such as Aids, drug abuse, child abuse, any abuse, Cancer, divorce, murder, lust, hatred, pride, death, etc.    However, we don't know what the disease is that causes all the mess unless we read the manual.  And, is there a cure?  That is what I would want to know.   I know there are some cures for modern diseases but what about for the disease of all diseases---sin?  What if you don't take the cure?  What is sin really, anyways?  Everyone seems to have a different view these days.   Back to the Manual.  The Bible has the directions and the cure.   Get your Manual today.  SavedFromTheWrath.com

Preaching the Cross

There has been something on my mind as of late and I hope to share it with you on a future post.  For now I will share an excerpt from Ray Comfort's blog which is related to what has been on my mind. Enjoy.

"A friend and I went open air preaching recently at a local college (we have special permission not only to preach, but to film for our TV program--from the school’s Chief of Police). While my friend Tony was preaching, someone politely introduced himself and asked, “Do you think Jesus would have done this?” I said, “He did. Haven’t you read the gospels?” He was quick to say, “No He didn’t! He just drew people to Himself.” I said, “Okay, Tony will be finished in a moment, so you can get up on the soapbox and show us how you do it. We will sit at your feet and learn.” He responded, “Oh, I don’t do it that way. I just wear a cross.” I asked, “Do youspeak to people about the reality of Hell, and how they need a Savior?” He said that he didn’t, so I told him that I liked the way Tony did it, better than the way that he didn’t do it.  It was no surprise to find that he hadn’t read his Bible for three weeks, and it was easy to understand why he believed as he did.  If I was ignorant of the Holy Scripture and if I didn’t care about people going to Hell, I would probably confine my evangelism to wearing a cross. But instead I must carry one."

January 22, 2012 will mark the 39th anniversary for government funded abortion (Roe vs. Wade decision in 1973).   Even though this particular video was made two years ago I find it is a fitting reminder of what the pro-life fight against abortion is.
